A concept that came to me a few years ago now.

A video journal that followed the passion, motivation and the key elements that inspire people to do what they do!
I kicked the series off with an episode featuring a good friend of mine who pushed for an elite position as a professional BMX athlete. Travelling the world, dedicating his life to bettering himself and securing dominance at the top of his class. In time, he lost the competitive edge and turned his attention to pursuing an engineering career. This led to the craft of bicycle manufacturing and developing innovative bicycle components.
Through his journey he had the opportunity to collaborate with other people who in turn, were pushing the limits in their particular craft.
Whilst building these relationships, he discovered elements of other industries that pushed the growth of a humble small business called Williams Racing Products.
WRP as its better known has achieved global status and continues to push the boundaries of bicycle parts manufacturing.

DREAM - BUILD - RIDE
Motorcycles have always been about more than simply getting from one place to another. Every custom build tells a story—of countless late nights in the shed, lessons learned through trial and error, and a vision slowly taking shape in steel, aluminium and paint. Behind every machine is a builder with a unique perspective, and it's those stories we want to showcase.
Each episode will take an in-depth look at a different custom build, exploring everything from the hand-fabricated components and one-off modifications to the design choices that define the bike's character. Whether it's a beautifully shaped fuel tank, a meticulously fabricated subframe, handcrafted exhausts or a perfectly executed paint scheme; the aim is to showcase the creativity and skill that goes into building a truly individual motorcycle.
Accompanying each feature will be a dedicated photoshoot. Photography has always been a passion of mine and, truthfully, one of the only classes at school that ever really captured my attention. Like many passions, life gets busy and distractions come and go, but this project feels like the perfect opportunity to get back behind the lens. Through these shoots, I want to document more than just motorcycles. I want to capture the details that often go unnoticed. The style, attitude and personality of the people who built them. After all, every custom motorcycle is a reflection of its creator.
Beyond the bikes themselves, Dream • Build • Ride aims to touch on the builders' stories. What first sparked their interest in motorcycles? Were they influenced by family, racing, art, engineering or simply the desire to create something with their own hands? What inspires their style, and how have those influences evolved over time? Every builder approaches a project differently, and those differences are what make the custom motorcycle scene so diverse and inspiring.
To launch the series, I'll be sitting down with a super talented fabricator I met shortly after moving to the Gold Coast. His craftsmanship, dedication and recognition for a standout custom motorcycle have recently earned him a position at one of Australia's most respected custom motorcycle workshops. His journey is one that perfectly captures what this series is all about—turning passion into opportunity and an unwavering commitment to the craft.
This series however, isn't about chasing the biggest names or the most expensive builds. It's about celebrating the people who continue to dream, build and ride—those whose passion keeps motorcycle culture moving forward.
Most importantly, this is a community project. Wayside Moto has always been built around supporting riders, builders and Australian craftsmanship, and this series is another way of giving back to the community that continues to inspire us every day.
