DREAM BUILD RIDE

A concept that came to me a few years ago now.
EXPLORING MOTIVE
A video journal that followed the passion, motivation and the key elements that inspire people to do what they do!
I kicked the series off with an episode featuring a good friend of mine who pushed for an elite position as a professional BMX athlete. Travelling the world, dedicating his life to bettering himself and securing dominance at the top of his class. In time, he lost the competitive edge and turned his attention to pursuing an engineering career. This led to the craft of bicycle manufacturing and developing innovative bicycle components.
Through his journey he had the opportunity to collaborate with other people who in turn, were pushing the limits in their particular craft.
Whilst building these relationships, he discovered elements of other industries that pushed the growth of a humble small business called Williams Racing Products.
WRP as its better known has achieved global status and continues to push the boundaries of bicycle parts manufacturing.

DREAM - BUILD - RIDE
Following the motorcycle theme and complimenting the roots of Wayside Moto, this new project will follow the Exploring Motive template.
However this time around we will take the podcast approach.
Builders, manufacturers and personalities within the motorcycle industry.
Particularly, I endeavour to capture the thoughts and the key elements that motivate and inspire these people.
To compliment this, I endeavour to promote the series through an array of photographs.
Photography has always been a passion of mine and frankly, one of the only classes I put effort into through school. Life happens and distractions come and go but now is my time to get back behind the lens!
In advance I do want to thank everyone who jumps onboard with this, it means the world!
I have chosen to kick off this series talking to a super talented fabricator Ive met through a recent move to the Gold Coast. His experience as a fabricator and recognition for a custom motorcycle build have recently secured him a position in a particularly notable custom motorcycle shop!
In the weeks to come we will have Episode 1. Exploring how (let's just call him Jack for now) has ended up in his current position. Were elements of his childhood a particular influence or is a creative outlet the core motivation for his current achievements?
At the end of the episode we will talk about other personalities in the industry that motivate us and what they're doing to push themselves or the motorcycle scene.
Stay tuned! Wayside is for the people, we can't grow without your passion!
Catch ya on the Wayside!
