As a small business owner and an employee for a small Australian Business, I believe it is absolutely vital to support Australian Made!
In todays economy, with the uncertainty around costs of living and the future of Australian imports/exports in question; I think it is absolutely important to keep our cash local!
And if not for the economical standpoint, for the support of our fellow Aussies!
See, for many of us here in Australia we are putting in extra hours after our 9-5. Developing side hustles so we can afford the simple pleasures in life like an annual holiday or dinner out with the family.
Particularly, in the motorcycle industry many of us have set out to create and brand a product or service that we can be proud of! Something that can bring in some extra cash at the end of the day and most importantly keep the scene alive!
In light of giving back to the motorcycle community, Wayside is also here to encourage and promote all of those behind the scenes. Without vendors, fabricators, mechanics and retailers there is no avenue for community engagement.
Yeah we can cruise around on our bikes but things like motorcycle events would be nothing more than a gathering!
So what is Wayside actually doing you might ask?
DREAM - BUILD - RIDE
A unique podcast where we get to the roots of who and what drives the progression of the scene here in Australia. Particularly, we dive into the passion of bike builders, talking about their builds. How they unskilled, learned, overcome and most importantly what keeps their brains ticking.
We follow this recipe and implement the conversation to small business owners, event organisers, brand reps and more. I can assure you, this is one to hang out for!
Were already in the works and can't wait to let you in on the conversation.
Secondly, we are working hard in the background to create a marketplace for exclusively Australian made motorcycle parts and apparel! We're not here to focus on mass produced or import items, each product advertised will be especially designed and tailor made for a particular application.
With conversations already flowing and the extraction of products from our Dream Build Ride series, we can assure you that in time, Wayside will be the place to go for custom made and bespoke motorcycle components!
