Why Wayside?

That place we all end up at some time or another. For me and my mates, it was more often than not. Typically we get around on old bikes, custom builds or well... Harleys. Breakdowns are not uncommon!
Waysides humble beginnings as a Motorcycle Towing service has inspired the growth and direction of the business. The opportunity to talk to so many like minded individuals and hear their thoughts on the scene, shops and just bikes in general has given me a good sense of direction for the future of Wayside.
At the end of the day whether you ride a Chinese chariot, an electric hyper-missile or an out of this world custom build; we all ride for the same reason. Enjoyment.
The raw experience of riding down the road is like no other. Until you ride a motorcycle you don't realise that the temperature can change in an instant, that the smell of a good home cooked meal will remind you of Granny's Sunday roast and how unbelievably comfortable, discomfort can really feel.
For some its Zen, others its the adrenaline but for all of us, its an escape.
Ive been inspired by these experiences and interactions, and with that I've decided that there's more to Wayside than a humble tow service.
We want to get you involved, we want to provide a range of quality products from Australian Manufacturers and most of all, we aim to bring a positive experience to the Motorcycle scene as a whole.
Mark my word, these are early days but wayside will thrive!

TRANSPORT
We currently offer a fully insured motorcycle transport service, however we do encourage you to reach out for any assistance on group rides. With the ability to store cold drinks, food, first aid, bedding, luggage, tools and a comprehensive breakdown service; Wayside is your ideal Support Vehicle Service!
STORE
In the past we have assisted in the resale of various used custom bikes and offered hard parts and small goods sourced from bulk suppliers. (Yes we explored the aliexpress market. Yes, the products suck! haha) Moving on, we've been inspired to offer a unique range of quality Australian goods which cater to custom bike enthusiasts.
Currently we are designing and printing a range of t-shirts, the first of which we labelled 'party tricks.' We're stoked with the response for these and have progressed to the print stage for a second design which you'll see land in the coming weeks.
Additionally we plan to offer a space to purchase quality parts from innovative Australian Manufacturers and Small Businesses. At Wayside we value the craft of building a motorcycle and we aspire to offer you the best components for your next build!
